Now, I get that the long ME end turn times as a problem for a lot of folks, but what explains why my recommended setting is "high" for TWW1 and the game play fantastically on ultra, while the recommended setting for TWW2 is "low" and the game plays like crap even on low settings. In TWW2, however, the recommended graphics setting for my rig is "low" and ever when playing on low, battle load times are easily 3-5 times longer than TWW1, graphics are obviously much lower quality and end turn times (for ME especially) are 1 minute plus.
It's a truly optimized gaming experience. I actually play TWW1 on ultra settings and every single aspect of the game runs smooth as butter and lightning fast. For TWW1, the recommended settings according to the graphics menu on the start screen is "high".
I have both TWW1 and TWW2 and there is a discrepancy in the recommended graphics settings that I would like to know more about.
